Bozeman Teaching Center | Lecture – Overcoming the Seduction of Suicide
The recent suicide of popular comedian and actor Robin Williams has been a frequent topic in the press. The common belief in social media is that Robin has finally found in death, the peace that he could not find in life. Suicide is seductive. It seems to offer a way out of pain and despair, but it never delivers.
Author Neroli Duffy, minister and former medical doctor, offers practical tools and priceless insights on suicide from the perspective of the soul in her book, Wanting to Live: Overcoming the Seduction of Suicide. The book is co-authored by psychologist Dr. Marilyn Barrick.
Together, Duffy and Barrick explain why suicide is so seductive and what we can do about it from a spiritual perspective, with the understanding of how you can have powerful, life-changing partnerships with heavenly rescuers to transform the darkness into light.
The book Features successful case studies and key points, and thankfully it has already saved lives.
On Friday, August 22, Neroli Duffy will be present at the Bozeman Community Teaching Center to present a talk on this timely subject of suicide. The talk is from 7:00 – 8:00. All are welcome.
